Solution / Yellow.ai Alternative

A Yellow.ai alternative you can actually buy online

Yellow.ai is an enterprise platform sold through a sales cycle. Rymiq is the same category of product with a published price and a signup button. Here is the difference, including the parts where Yellow.ai is ahead.

S.01

The structural difference

Yellow.ai is an enterprise conversational AI platform with a deep feature surface — an agent builder, a knowledge base, a copilot, a voice product, and 35+ channels — sold mainly to large organisations. Its published pricing is a free tier with 1 AI agent and 500 chats a month (then $0.99 per resolution), and an Enterprise tier with unlimited agents, chats and channels that is quoted on a demo call.

That $0.99-per-resolution figure is the number worth sitting with. At 2,000 resolutions a month it is roughly $1,980. Rymiq’s Pro plan at ₹4,999 / $69 a month includes 8,000 AI chatbot replies, and replies beyond that are ₹2.50 / $0.04 per pack of ten — about ₹0.25 / $0.004 each. The two products are not billing the same unit, and a "resolution" is worth more than a "reply", but the order-of-magnitude gap survives any reasonable conversion.

The second difference is procurement. Yellow.ai Enterprise starts with a demo request. Rymiq starts with an email address, a free plan, and an upgrade button inside the app. If your buying process has a procurement team and a security review, that is a point for Yellow.ai. If it is you and a company card, it is a point for us.

Where Yellow.ai is the better choice

Yellow.ai is genuinely the better choice for large enterprises with compliance requirements we do not yet meet at their depth: its Enterprise tier carries SOC 2, GDPR and ISO posture, formal security review, and 35+ channel coverage including the long tail of regional messengers. If your RFP has a hundred rows, they will fill in more of them than we will.

It is also ahead on breadth of pre-built enterprise integrations and on industry-specific deployments in BFSI, healthcare, retail and utilities. If you are a bank replacing a contact centre, that experience matters more than a per-minute rate.

Rymiq’s buyer is the layer below: teams of 2–200 who want an AI calling agent and a website chatbot running this week, with a bill they can read. We are not trying to win a bank’s RFP, and saying so is more useful to you than pretending otherwise.

Where Rymiq is ahead for smaller teams

The honest caveat: we have fewer channels, a smaller integration catalogue, and no twenty-person implementation team. If any of those is load-bearing for you, take the Yellow.ai demo. If none of them is, the price difference is not close.

What this costs in practice

A useful way to compare: write down your monthly volume of chat resolutions and calling minutes, then price both. At 2,000 resolutions and 600 calling minutes a month, Rymiq Pro is ₹4,999 / $69 with both allowances inside the plan. The same volume priced at $0.99 per resolution is close to $2,000 for the chat alone, before voice.

Where that flips is scale plus compliance. Above roughly 25,000 monthly conversations with enterprise security requirements, a negotiated enterprise contract often beats self-serve list pricing, and that is exactly the territory Yellow.ai sells into. Our equivalent is the Custom plan, where per-unit prices come down past 4,000 minutes or 75,000 replies a month.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Yellow.ai publishes a free tier with 1 AI agent and 500 chats a month, charging $0.99 per resolution after that, with Enterprise pricing quoted on a demo call. Rymiq publishes every tier: free, then $29, $69, $139 and $349 a month, with AI calling at a flat $0.10 a minute. For a team doing a couple of thousand conversations a month, Rymiq is roughly an order of magnitude cheaper; for a large enterprise with a negotiated contract and heavy compliance needs, the comparison is much closer.
